There is no Deep Dish Dungeon anime

Checked 2026-10-16. Steam build 25955406. Patch 1.0.47.0.

I checked the Steam about text, the publisher page, and the news feed for an adaptation announcement and found none. The mix-up is theme: a dungeon where you cook. Rock Paper Shotgun said as much on 13 October 2026, wishing someone would make a Delicious in Dungeon game and noting this one is legally distinct. That quote is a reviewer’s joke, not a licensing deal.

Two different works

Deep Dish Dungeon shipped 13 October 2026 on Steam and Xbox. Developer Behold Studios, publisher Raw Fury. No anime release date exists because no anime was announced.

Delicious in Dungeon, also called Dungeon Meshi, is Ryoko Kui’s manga and its anime. It is not a mode, DLC, or prequel of this game. If you want the game, use the download page. If you want the show, this install will not play it.

Questions

Is Deep Dish Dungeon the Dungeon Meshi game?

No. It is a separate co-op dungeon crawler. The themes overlap. The copyright lines do not.
