Mac and Steam Deck requirements

Checked 2026-10-16. Steam build 25955406. Patch 1.0.47.0.

The Deck line I trust is the 30 September 2026 Steam news title “Deep Dish Dungeon is Steam Deck verified.” Patch 1.0.47.0 later fixed native fullscreen on the Deck and Xbox-app controller detection. I have no hands-on note for M-series Macs or for Proton on Linux, so those stay out.

Store requirements

macOS minimum on the Steam page: Mac OS, Intel Core i3 or better, 8 GB RAM, the same DirectX feature note, broadband, 2 GB storage. Recommended steps up to an i5 and 16 GB, matching Windows. Linux is false in the API.

Controllers include DualShock and DualSense on the Steam categories. Family Sharing and Steam Cloud are on. That is the compatibility story I can source. Frame times are not.
