Recipe unlocks, not a fake cookbook
Checked 2026-10-16. Steam build 25955406. Patch 1.0.47.0.
MeowDB’s 153 demo recipes are the wrong build. I am not pasting them under a full-game stamp. NPC Tips has a build 25955406 table with cook times, and the author says it was read from files, not cooked in a kitchen. Until those rows are cooked once, this page keeps the rule that makes the table usable: recipes appear after the first pickup.
The rule
Hold leather once and the leather recipe appears. Hold the hammer once and the hammer recipe appears. In co-op, your friend does not inherit your unlocks. A blank cooking table is often the wild-corn pickup, which is the bench page, not a missing recipe row.
Dev Blog #5 (17 December 2025) says food is progress. The blog names apple, meat, mushrooms, corn, cassava, tomato, beans, and cilantro, plus example plates: shepherd’s pie, meat and mushroom stew, ramen, pastel, and cassava fritters. It does not print amounts. The eight stations in the full-game notes are the crafting menu, workbench, cooking table, cooking pot, skillet, oven, rotisserie, and kettle. Herbs change a dish you already know how to cook.

Craft costs that are actually counted
I am only listing rows where a source printed a number. Smelter clay and scrap counts are not in that set, so they stay off the table. Cook times in the NPC Tips file table are marked unread-in-a-kitchen until someone cooks them on build 25955406.
